A daily golf challenge everyone plays on the same course
Every midnight UTC a new course is generated from a fresh seed, and every player in the world gets exactly that course. Nobody is handed an easier green, so the daily board is a straight comparison of reads and timing.

Yesterday's mastery does not carry over: the layout is new, so a returning player and a first-time player start the day level. That is the part of a daily challenge that keeps a small leaderboard competitive.
